Meetings: We meet at 7:00 at St. Marks church in Norman OK.
Adult Leaders-
Scoutmaster: Geoff Blackman
Treasurer: Darwin Scheffe
Charter Organization Representative: Darwin Scheffe
Ok, so these names may or may not mean anything to you, so I will explain: Scoutmaster is the leader of everyone. If he tells you to do something, than you do it. Treasure is the one who holds all the troop’s Money, and therefore you will go to him to pay for stuff. The COR is the one who coordinates anything with the church.
Troop Leadership-
By troop leadership, I mean the Boy Scouts that lead the troop. First, there is SPL. The SPL (senior patrol leader) is the one who leads everyone in the troop. He is the one who plans the meetings, leads the meetings, and listens to the other scout's complaints about the troop. Next, there is the ASPLs (Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders). The ASPLs assist the SPL, and you should obey any orders by them that don’t counteract the SPL’s orders. Now that we’ve gone over the 2 most important positions, we will go over Historian. Historian is in charge of keeping records of everything that goes on at campout. Then there is Quartermaster, and he is in charge of making sure all the troop’s stuff is sorted and maintained. Finally, Chaplin’s aide says prayers at the end of the meetings.
